Greatly inspired by the wonderful Ana/Catwife after seeing her awesome journal comics. You guys should read them and look at her art! She’s so great and passionate and really awesome.

My eczema gets steadily worse with stress, which is why I associate it with a great sense of failure. The past month has only made it 200x worse than before, and I have to change my lifestyle quite a bit just so I could get it under control.

It also doesn’t help that I don’t react well to change (lies down)

It’s interesting to see the different choices I started to make—not to mention how I made her head a lot wider after a semester of Anatomy class.

Just wanted to add more commentary on my designs and stuff! I’m glad people think they’re neat enough to reblog.

A is going along with the more monk-look (flowy fabric too) the Blue Lanterns usually have, though I’ve noticed a lot of them are skin-tight suits too. (That was probably for Darkest Night though, so I’m not sure if that counts?)

B is the more refined version of the one I’ve posted before with Razer’s tail coat. It’s the one I might end up using for more drawings.

I was thinking about adding a helmet/head covering, along with keeping the crazy shoulder things on his armor, to make him look like Razer…then I thought about how that would be too(?) reminiscent of his Red days. 

Also I just … like his hair…

which is, btw, largely taken from junryou’s renditions. 

is it bad if i say i was thinking “hot priest” when i think blue lantern Razer? bc that’s what i was totally thinking while drawing this.

Still affected by that Green Lantern: The Animated Series finale. Therefore, fanart!

What I thought might look cool when Razer accepts the Blue Lantern ring. Inspired by his out-of-Ring clothing, along with some influences from Aya’s outfit. (I guess it makes sense to me? The reason for his hope would be Aya, so I put a bit of her in there to symbolize it.)

Also a great reason to show Razer’s hair wink. 

Razer’s eyes are only easy to draw in PROFILE VIEW.

I met Yssa (dearbassy) at the artist gallery. she’s so sweet n awesome she drew Bodie for me while I drew Buttercup (PPG) for her :)

I met JC at AOD 2013 and found out I knew her cousin all the way in Jersey. SO CRAY!!

Work in progress! I’m planning on doing all seven demigods from Rick Riordan’s Heroes of Olympus, plus an additional three. I haven’t done a full digital paint in a while.
