Got asked to do a vinyl label design (the designs in the middle of those big DJ discs :O), and these are just the previews of the sketches.
For my Intro to Graphic Design Tools class, we have to create a zine! After choosing a topic, we’d create the cover, the masthead, and the layout of the articles in between. We don’t have to write the articles and pictures, so yeah…
My topic is basically the role of females in anime/manga (gotta love art school. Let you do whatever you want), so my title is Sugar&Spice. Uh. I…couldn’t really come up with anything better. orz;
This is the computer draft for my masthead, and basically the third draft total of all designs I had in mind.

So I made this yesterday in three hours, actually, hahaha. Didn’t buy shit. Just used cardboard left out for recycling and took the white paper they had in class. Teacher said to make it as interesting as possible because we’re gonna draw it. So I was like,
