Head turnaround of ^, revamped design of this.

Turnarounds are difficult for me because they require consistency and thinking in a 3D way—both of which I’m horrible at!

I’m obviously upset, so I decide to talk about one of the things that make me so.

For my Math: Programming and Art final, I made a platformer. The basic story is Marshall Lee kidnapped Prince Gumball, and it’s up to Fionna to save him. In order to do so, she has to collect all the candy balls Marshall put around the castle.

This is the ultimate conclusion of said game, hahaha.

I don’t own Adventure Time.

for 3D Animation 1 class. Same walk cycle assignment, but add a character emotion/personality to it.

for my 3D Animation 1 class. Practicing the Norman rig, Maya, and walk cycles!

what more pixel art

putting it in a text post because Tumblr might mess up the small size :P

This was just for fun! Because I always thought the neutral “fighting stances” would be interesting to explore.

I don’t own Adventure Time/Fionna.

Pixel art! (: It’s really…simple pixel art haha. But I’m planning for some more awesome things with pixel art for my math final.
Yes. My math final.
This was done for an assignment.
In my math class.
#art school why
Anyway, going along with my spiel of using Fionna and Cake homework stuffs. This time around, I played with Fionna’s expressions.
Trivia: In my assignment, the top-left animation is triggered if you press the button, “Prince Gumball waves hello!”The third one on the top row plays when you press, “Fionna’s Ruby Sword is gone!”

Click to see the full java animation!
Technically not a “frame-by-frame” animation, but this is my midterm for my Math: Art and Programming class. It was basically a “do something that involves EVERYTHING WE HAVE LEARNED ABOUT!” assignment. Therefore, using only numbers, vertices, variables, trigonometry, and a bit of Photoshop, I have created this.
I’ve been loyally doing every assignment Fionna-and-Cake related.
Don’t believe me?
You should.

I’m in college for Animation, so I decided to do something with it.
An interesting experiment for me, working with Photoshop on an animation that’s not just a simple gif. My layer list got up to 101! (Mind you, I merged layers and made new ones, so it just kept building up.)
Did part of it in grayscale because oh god the colors. There’s a reason why most animation is done in teams. One person just can’t do it all.
There are a few things still wonky about this, such as her pulling back both strings rather than just one. The reference I took from the cartoon actually shows her using both AND one—the opening theme, she pulls back using one, but some sequences in Homefront shows her pulling both—so I went with both. …Kekeke.
