What I finished from the livestream. Took much longer than I thought…
I haven’t painted in a long time, so I’m still a bit rusty. The moment I finish everyone’s faces, I’m pretty sure the process will be expedited @_@

183 notesKotaku’s Jason Schreier reached out for comment on why AA5 will only be available as a digital download in America and Europe, and got this response:
“Historically it’s been tough to attract long term retail support for Ace Attorney titles. With the release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – DualDestinies we wanted as many people as possible to be able to enjoy the game for as long as possible. With that in mind we have opted for a digital only release via the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
“We understand that this decision may upset fans who wanted to have a physical version of the title to add to their collection but we believe this direction is the best to take to ensure that fans are able to enjoy the game at their own leisure.
“We will be confirming details on the price point soon so please stay tuned for more information on the latest in the Ace Attorney series.”
An interesting take on things - hopefully the game being digital won’t be too much of a barrier to sales.

anthropomorphia:Ethiopian girl guarded from gang rape & assault by three lions.
“The girl had been taken by seven men who wanted to force her to marry one of them. She was beaten repeatedly. Then the lions chased off her captors. The three lions guarded her for about half a day. They stood guard until we found her and then they just left her like a gift and went back into the forest.”
Then, Stuart Williams (the local wildlife ‘expert’) suggests that perhaps the lions mistook the 12 year old girl’s cries for a lion cub. Which seems awfully silly, considering that lions are perfectly capable of telling apart the gazelles they eat from their own cubs, aren’t they?
#and surely if an animal knows rape is wrong people should too

It was my friend’s mom’s birthday yesterday. Both our moms are single parents and I started thinking about how strong they had to be for us. Then I started thinking about women of color in general. Being a PoC ain’t a walk in the park by itself, but add being a woman in a patriarchal society? Nahhh. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for women of color. AND THEN people have the nerve to call em out on being hard and growing a thick skin, telling them to smile and be happy n’ shit. Fuck outta here. Women that face all that bull and STILL manage to come out on top amaze me.
These thoughts inspired this piece. A black Wonder Woman.
